Our Approach

The Puede Network Scholars Program aims to transform students into scholars and community leaders. We foster a collaborative ecosystem that brings together students, educators, and parents. Active year-round participation from both youth and their families is crucial to achieving this goal.

Participation

    • Complete required community service hours each year.

    • Participate in fundraising events that strengthen the program and support peers.

    • Help build a culture of respect, teamwork, and giving back.

    L – Leadership

    • Attend monthly leadership classes and civic engagement events.

    • Demonstrate integrity, initiative, and responsibility in and out of school.

    • Serve as a positive role model for other students and community members.

    A – Aspirations

    • Work with staff and parents to create and follow an Individual Development Plan (IDP).

    • Set meaningful goals for academic, personal, and career growth.

    • Parents commit to attending weekly parent engagement workshops to stay involved and informed.

    V – Vocation

    • Participate in at least one extracurricular activity such as academics, athletics, or the arts.

    • Explore different interests to discover personal strengths and passions.

    • Develop skills that prepare for success in college, career, and life.

    E – Education

    • Maintain a positive GPA and strive for academic excellence.

    • Participate in the literacy program with parent(s) or guardian(s).
